Mate, Veltha Vintage:2021 as it is both fleshyDarkly alluring, the 2020 Brunello di Montalcino Veltha opens in the glass with an array of grilled herbs, ashen stones and dried black cherries. This is soft and round, with a wave of ripe violet laced red and black fruits, sweet spice and a crunch of tactile minerality toward the close. The 2020 tapers off with a classically dry feel with crisp tannins, hints of spiced orange and an air of lavender that lingers on and on. This is a fantastic showing
