Over 100 years of storage we have received this charming "miniature" officer's sword, 27 inches in overall length and of European origin. Almost certainly expressly constructed for a specific officer's young son this dates from the latter part of the Victorian era. The steel four bar basket guard is fitted with a figured bone or ivory grip. The blade is 23 inches and fullered down each side and there is a scabbard
