One of a Kind Group. This is a lovely WWII 1st Marine Division grouping identified to Assistant Cook Robert Ernest Guinther, who first enlisted in July 1943. The grouping includes his medals, EGAs, patch, and dog tags. In our research, we found that Guinther served with the HQ Squadron, Marine Aviation Detachment, Naval Air Technical Training Center in Jacksonville, Florida from 1943 1945, also serving with the 1st Service Battalion,
