Here we have a very nice Cap Eagle, cut off from a German WWII Army M43 Field cap (Heer M43 Feldmtze) or possibly an M38 cap. The insignia are sewn onto a field gray (feldgrau) wool cap section, which has the center seam from the front of the cap. It features a fine machine BeVo embroidered eagle, with gray thread on a light green base, the Heer colors in use from 1940 onwards. Measures roughly 2 7 8"W x 1 3 4. A
