A fine example of a late 19th Century Early 20th Century Belgian Made Diplomats Court Sword by the firm of Fonson & Cie. The sword itself mimics the appearance of the classic British Model 1796 Officers Sword, which traditionally was a very popular design amongst the European market for decades. The Sword features a faintly etched blade, with each side exhibiting decorative scrollwork extending halfway up the blade.
