Description

an amendment to Title II of Spanish Royal Decree 1511/1977 adopting Flags

Although the RPD was ready for mass production during the final stages of World War II

no doubt for the great DURBAR of 1903 celebrating the accession of King Edward VIII to the throne and probably used at the great DURBAR of 1911 celebrating the accession of King George the V to the throne when the King and his Queen Mary made a state visit to India

The bayonet which is also Mortimer marked and dated 1799 is most likely of EIC local Indian production and was marked to match the musket when it was first fitted at the time

The front is marked in original period paint:

This is a WWI AEF US Army USMC M1909 Leather Belt Holster for the Colt or S&W M1917 . 45LC Revolver. The holster is in good condition, though the leather is stiff from age, and does show some cracking on the edges where the leather is folded over. However it is complete, with stitching and rivets
