We just received this very nice dagger out of a small private collection. It is a quite interesting letter opener, in the form of a miniature WWII German 2nd Model Kriegsmarine Naval Dagger complete with a "lightning bolt" style brass scabbard. It measures 7 3 8 inches long, with a 5 1 4 inch long nickel plated blade. This was probably purchased or given to a high ranking Kriegsmarine Officer, for use on their desk
