Original U.S. Civil War M-1840 Musicians Sword by Emerson & Silver of Trenton with Steel Scabbard - Dated 1863 EXCLUDE_CHECKOUT_RESTRICTION for LandersOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very good condition example of a U. S. Civil War issue Model 1840 Musician's sword, manufactured by the rare maker Emerson & Silver of Trenton NJ. We have not had many swords by this maker, whose output was dwarfed by many companies, especially the Ames Mfg. Co. who was the major supplier during the Civil War. The sword measures 34 1 2" overall, and has an all brass hilt, with a simple crossguard, which is
